Purple is very rare on the green court. The purple lily is the city symbol of Florence. The Fiorentina kit 98/99 was represented by a series of stars such as Batistuta and Rui Costa. The elegance of purple was interpreted to the extreme.

Designed by FILA, this Fiorentina retro jersey has a different design on the shoulders on both sides. The overall design of the jersey is also quite in line with the aesthetics of the time.

The purple color scheme of the Fiorentina jersey complements the white shoulder lines. The main color of purple is added with white embellishments. On the chest is the words of the sponsor Nintendo, which has a deep charm in its simplicity.

While minimalist might not like it, this Fiorentina kit 98/99 is definitely one of the most characteristic pieces of modern Italian football.
